crazy/awesome Saturday!

Super fun ward Pioneer Day Party!!!

Beautiful Baby Girl Nelson baby shower

Insane fun Bday Party!!!! Extreme BINGO! Hot dog bar! (with bacon-wrapped hot dogs)
Fred went swimming naked! Dance Party!! Chips and delicious fake cheese sauce! Cheetos for Fred!

Then a stop-by for a friend's bday dinner at THE YARD in Phoenix. A great day full of partying.

21 week ultrasound

We got our big ultrasound for smith babe 2 the other day. It was so exciting!!! Frederick thought it was awesome. It was a bit of a shock in a weird way...we are really having another baby!! (Duh, my stomach is huge and I can feel something living in there...) but you know...we're going to have another Freddie...someone totally independent and different!!! But I can only fathom another Freddie!!! Collin seemed to just  be 100% happy. I'm really so excited. I love being pregnant...though it's harder this time around...I was sicker, my body is stretching more quickly, I'm older, and I feel achier. Sciatica pain is REAL and it sucks badly. (luckily I have a husband who is the BEST prenatal masseuse of all time and he saves me!!!) But I love it. I'm grateful and excited and happy. Any fear or apprehension is gone at the present.

Don't mind the finger over the photo....Sandy Money!!!!! ;)

blustery and Fhe

We had literally 2 days of nice/interesting weather in Phoenix this summer (so far, I hope). And one involved a tornado in Ahwatukee!

And here's a typical family night at our house...Collin and Freddie dancing/marching around like crazy, me documenting, and the cats lounging.

Midnight cravings

Last night at 11pm I was sooo hungry and craving waffles. I went to my go-to recipe blog, Adventure in Cooking, and of course Eva did not let me down!

Here's the recipe for her strawberry whole wheat pancakes (which I just threw into my waffle maker.) They are very healthy too (besides the ton of syrup I put on them. Hehe.)

Craving satisfied.

Weekend escape

Byeeeeeeeeee kitties! We are getting outta this heat. Sorry, you have to stay here :( love ya!

Friday, July 19, 2013

As summer heats up, then backs off to just 110, we have been trying to stay cool and sane. The second one is a little tougher as we have been stuck inside many a day. But this one is keeping life good and exciting.

Parties parties.

I had a baby shower for my friend Hanna who will, sadly for me, be moving to Utah this month. But it was a great one! It was intimate, with DELICIOUS FOOD, pretty decorations, and good conversation. Hanna is gorgeous. I'm so excited for her...and for myself. I can't wait to have a newborn again. Freddie and Collin and I get so giddy excited thinking about him or her.

More jumpin!!

We finally used up our gift certificate at Skyzone. Although the employees are insane, that place is awesome, and we love it. And hate it. And really love it.

LAST TIME and THE TIME BEFORE, Fred was fearless...but this time he was all WHAT THE bouncing floor?!?! But after a while and some good dancin tunes, he got comfortable and went for it.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Anika!

My good friend Greta's little girl turned 2 a few weeks ago and a few days before, she and her husband, Josh, welcomed their 2nd daughter into the world. We had SO much fun at the birthday party, meeting lots of cool young families in the same stage of life as us. Fred was the life of the party, as always.

Happy fourth!!

I was like...SO excited for the 4th of July this year. I always love holidays and I love America but year I felt especially festive and grateful for the country we live in and the many freedoms I enjoy personally.

We had a great time singing, eating, watching the crazies stuff their faces in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest, spending time w friends and family, and later that day we went to the movie, World War Z. We loved it.

Freddie and Collin were super patriotic, too. That Fred loves to wave a flag around. God Bless America!!

Kendra and Kyle come to visit!

Collins sister, Kendra, and her husband, Kyle, stopped through for a visit in their way moving out East. It was a quick trip, but so much fun. Fred was totally in love with them. There's something so amazing about watching him with his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents.

We made up their bed as creepily as possible w all of Fred's cute stuffed animals.
