Missed. Heat. Not.
Yesterday was beautiful; today is just plain hot. Dusty, quiet, no clouds, hot. We missed our train. We had just taken it for fun today. Our car is cozy and cool in our parking spot at home. At least both kids went into heat coma mode. Wish I could too. Checked my weather app expecting 97. How is it possible that is only 84 degrees?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to be a long summer. Hurry, next train; the buzzards are circling above us.

holy moly. that you're still wearing hattie in that heat is AMAZING. what a woman! i'm not sure which is worse---the heat or the 5" of rain we got. :)
