Wedding party

Want to get my kids to do anything? Tell them they can go to a party. Even better: a dance party. Even BETTER: a wedding dance party. They are party animals and wedding lovers just like Collin and I and Saturday night we went to the reception of Collin's coworker and good Frieda's daughter. So much fun getting dressed up and going.
Love my cute honey bug lady killer.
After making it through one of the longest receiving lines ever. Seriously an hour or so wait, and meeting the awesome family, we got our donuts and chilled. Fred and hat made instant friends with a nice kid and they ran all over the place playing.

She always wants a do over pic. 🙏🏻👼

So this is the only picture I have of the dance party. We got down. Fred and Hat danced like mad too and Freddie even went in the middle of the giant circle of people dancing hehe.

Great fun and cutie dot while we play games at home after. What is it with cats and boxes? They love em.

As summer heats up, then backs off to just 110, we have been trying to stay cool and sane. The second one is a little tougher as we have been stuck inside many a day. But this one is keeping life good and exciting.

Katie+Alani FOREVER!!!!!!!!

June 1st was a very hot day. But it was a beautiful day--a good day for a wedding in phx in summer because it was the last day under 106 that we will see till November. Insane.

But anyway, we went to our good friends' wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The flowers, the food, the people (this is one good looking couple), the love!! The family!! The dancing. The cake! The chocolate pie!!!!!!! Everything so good.

Yahoo Katie and Alani Tufi!!!!
This kid was a dancing fool!!!

Super touching toasts by family members.
I love the woman above so much, Katie's sister, Amy.

Fred was obsessed!! He kept covering his mouth in disbelieve at her beauty and would run up and want to be held by her!! The princess!!!

AMAZING Tongan dancers! Fred was dancing w them and pointing to their hips moving like crazy hahaha! Then he kept helping pick up money and give it to the bride and groom. (Where does he gets his outgoing ness from????? Duh Collin.)

Katie's sidekick during the bouquet toss.

Then Kelly's BEST BUDDY during cake time. He ate half of her chocolate pie!!!

Awesome moment when we were taking a picture and Fred dropped his full glass of water on us.

BON VOYAGE!!! Such a fun night!! Congrats love birds!!

Testimonies

I have been very emotional today. I felt the spirit strongly at the wedding we attended last night. My dear friend, Katie was married to her best friend, Alani Tufi, in the Mesa temple. They had a ring ceremony where their Bishop testified of the love they had for each other and for God. I knew they were making the right choice.

I had such a great time w my little family in the making. We ate and danced and laughed. I feel that God loves me and that he is my father. And he allows me these blessings.

Today at church people shared their intimate testimonies, their struggles. I felt the strength and reality of our ward family. I feel humbled to know these beautiful people and feel so happy about the successes and stories they share.

I'm teaching today in young women's and I again feel humbled. Ill miss my husband being set apart in his new calling but I have committed to support him and I know I'll be where I'm supposed to. Ill be starting the discussion on supporting and upholding the Priesthood, but I have asked a bunch of the girls to teach what they feel about it. When they speak I feel the spirit so strongly. I know the Holy Ghost will be there.

I love my husband and my son and my extended family.  I know we are in ward families to support each other. I know Heavenly Father loves me.

Erin Rae married to Josh Getskow, Windmill Winery in Florence, Arizona!

One of my dearest and oldest friends, Erin, married her soul mate, Josh, in the beginning of February, at the Windmill Winery in Florence, AZ. Have you been there? It's the most gorgeous, fun, unique place I've been to for a wedding in Arizona! Big beautiful red barn, gorgeous vineyard, middle of nowhere, and the amazing weather we're having right now, not to mention all the beautiful handmade details made for an incredible night. I had SO much fun with Collin and Frederick. We got away for a few minutes and walked through the vineyard covered in twinkley lights. I also got to nurse Fred by a small fire and that was so sweet. I was beyond happy for Erin and Josh. The ceremony was so touching, centered on God and their commitment to one another. We ate, caught up with old friends, met new ones, roasted s'mores while wrapped in blankets at a huge romantic bonfire, and danced the night away. Frederick was in the spotlight the whole time. But Erin and Josh were the stars. They looked stunning. Erin was perfectly gorgeous from head to toe. Congratulations, you two!!! Now for a few photos to share the beauty of the night with you.

Brunch for Bride

Happy wedding shower Erin! This was 2 weeks ago. Collin watched Freddie and I got to go have brunch, make my own mimosas (mine had sparkling cider), play games with cute panties, just be girly and gush with one of my dearest friends since 7th grade about her up owning wedding. I loved it. The downside besides missing Fred: not having his diaper bag and totally losing when we played that get points for having tons of awesome crap in your bag game. Oh well! I was light! Congratulations to the gorgeous bride!!

Thanks and four years!!!

Today is Thanksgiving. The past few days have been rough and I'm thankful for the peace and comfort I recieve from family and friends. I'm grateful that I can find answers in the scriptures and can turn to God in prayer. I'm grateful that I have food to eat and that we can pay our bills. We live a happy eventful life. We are so blessed.

Today is also my fourth anniversary! We have been through our fair share of trials and have grown together through them. I am now more in love than ever. I am so grateful for my husband. He is my happy place. He completes me in every way. He loves me; he's positive, intelligent and sees me as his equal. I am grateful for my son. I love being a mother. I love nursing Frederick, caring for him, playing with him and teaching him. I love learning from him. He is a precious miracle in my life. I love our eternal family. I'm grateful for all of my extended family. I am grateful for amazing friends who lift me up so entirely. I am grateful for faith. It gets me through hard times. I see only blessings. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Poor Montgomery had surgery on his tail. He is okay now but he has to wear the cone of shame. We have to give him antibiotics and clean his wounds every day.

Love my brothers so much.
