Phoenix Suns!!!

Sandy money and Frederick's first Suns game of the season! It was a lot of fun: two babies in tow!! We four were squished into just two seats plus dinner but it was so much fun! Freddie was soooooo excited---absolutely giddy about going at all and had a great time watching the players, yelling at the lights to GO, and dancing his little booty off to the music. He loves "baskagaul" very very much. My mom and I had fun dressing up (I actually curled my hair!!! And felt nice!!!) and Hattie just nursed and slept most of the time. She was interested in looking at the court for a little while. We love my dad's season tickets this year: 4th row behind the opposing team's bench. We played the Spurs (double, triple puke) and killed them!!! That Duncan was crying in his seat, haha!

My babes in their suns colors!

Hanging around town and accomplishments!

Heres Freddie going going going on his scooter. We had a great day at the park the other day with lulu and pops. Fred loves Steele Indian school park because there are always so many kids there. "I want to see friends, mommy!" He is soooooo out-going and I always end up meeting awesome families and moms because of him. Everyone loves meeting Hattie and comment on how. It's she is! Hehe, I think she's gorgeous!!! And so smart, hilarious, wonderful, spiritual!!! My children are amazing, unique people who will change the world!!!! A few moms with one child have asked advice on having two...saying they are thinking of having another. I told one that I recently had a breakthrough....and feel like I'm slowly getting a old of things...as long as I am SUPER patient and don't mind taking an extra hour to leave the house and only try to do one thing per day on my own. :) life is good though. I love having a newborn.  Well she's 6 weeks this Thursday....aw man it's crazy and wonderful.

San Diego for Memorial Day weekend

This past weekend, Collin and Frederick and I joined my mom, dad, and brother on their trip to San Diego for a basketball tournament. Neither of us had been to San Diego in years, and certainly had never been together and CERTAINLY not with our new best buddy and son, Frederick. We left the kitties with a babysitter, who took very very good care of them, might I add, and got outta town. Man, we LOVED it. The gorgeous weather, green and color everywhere, fresh air, beach, cute houses, hilly roads, beautiful temple. We went to a random ward there on Sunday and it was full of families about our age with lots of kids and breastfeeding mothers. The whole thing made us seriously want to move there. Look at Grad School out there. The weekend was short and there was also lots of basketball watching, so we can't wait for our next opportunity to get out there again. Of course, nothing can be perfect, so just as we were getting out of town, both the drivers in our party got pulled over and tickets were issued!!! (STUPID MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TRAFFIC AND COPS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF NAIVE TOURISTS WHO DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING AND DIDN'T SEE A TURN ONLY SIGN!! grrr) But I must say that both Freddie's and my crying got us quite a bit of leniency....)

Here are some photos. Such a fun trip:

pure sweetness (it's hard in the car, but I'm becoming a pro ;) )

 (missin us):

Finally, I was able to enter the San Diego temple! (every time I've been there in the past, I haven't been endowed, so i've had to wait outside!) One of the most beautiful celestial rooms ever.

had such fun playing with this one all over the place. he loves the sun, and being in grass, eating leaves, playing hard. He's so active. He was crawling around in the grass and there were little burrs and pokey things and he crawled on his tips toes and fingertips hahahah but no complaining because he just loves nature!! Love this kid. Plays hard; sleeps hard.

We went to an awesome ward for church, and then took a drive  up the coast to la Jolla Beach. It was GORGEOUS and so relaxing.
we are at the BEACH!

get to work, boy

(I'm not eating any seaweed!!!!) Frederick!!!! hehe

Fun(ny) at the Mormon Battalion Site
(yes we went twice because my mom didn't get to go and was sad, haha)

most awful gym ever. they didn't turn on the a/c and there were 16 basketball teams of teenagers playing. shudderrr. the horror.

Joseph's basketball game

We love watching Joe play sports!! And of course, Freddie steaks the show. I had to sneak off to feed him and some guy didn't notice and came in and played the piano. It was awesome. Oh and I love my mom's front yard. So many beautiful colors! Spring is almost here!!
