The kids and I had a date during priesthood session of general conference. We went to In-N-Out, then our favorite: the pet store!! We saw so many cool fish (glow in the dark!!), turtles swimming, birds, guinea pigs, mice sleeping in piles, snakes, kitties that we wanted to take home, dogs getting haircuts, lazy ferrets, tons of other lizards, and more. Ella loves playing with all the squeeze puppy toys so we could always find her in the aisles. It was fun and I love these little animal lovers. 

Grandma visits

My mom came in for the weekend last week. It was a fun snowy time. Collin and I got to go on two dates while my mom bathed and put the kids to bed and it was fantastic. I really felt relief from daily routine and got a nice break. The kids adore their Grammy and bring her book after book and won't let her nap. Haha. Poor G. It was a jam-packed weekend.

There was a snow storm all day Saturday: my moms dream come true. But with it came super dangerous roads and no hot springs. Oh well!!

We went swimming at the community pool.  So fun.

Our dear friend Jayden and her three kids came too. Freddie was crazy adorable w her youngest and was playing peek a boo, making her laugh. He is so ready to be a big brother again.  

Unfortunately her darling 2 year old son got sick and had to go to the hospital right after this. It was so scary and sad. But she was strong and we felt the spirit that families are forever. Thankfully he will be ok!!!

Magic in the moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight, Woody Allen 

A very good film. Gorgeous cinematography and scenery (southern France). Beautiful costumes (set in late 20s). Great acting. Great great writing/story. Gives one lots to talk about after. 

Date night last night and after getting some pants and dinner at kneaders (so good!!) we watched this film, arms together, sleeping Harriet. A couple stopped us after the movie and said how beautiful Hattie is and that they used to take their now teenaged-daughter to movies as a baby. 

It was slightly raining and quite cool out after the movie. We walked to the car and smith commented on how romantic it felt. I was thinking it. It was late. We kissed because it felt right and looked up at the rain. 

Hanging around town and accomplishments!

Heres Freddie going going going on his scooter. We had a great day at the park the other day with lulu and pops. Fred loves Steele Indian school park because there are always so many kids there. "I want to see friends, mommy!" He is soooooo out-going and I always end up meeting awesome families and moms because of him. Everyone loves meeting Hattie and comment on how. It's she is! Hehe, I think she's gorgeous!!! And so smart, hilarious, wonderful, spiritual!!! My children are amazing, unique people who will change the world!!!! A few moms with one child have asked advice on having two...saying they are thinking of having another. I told one that I recently had a breakthrough....and feel like I'm slowly getting a old of things...as long as I am SUPER patient and don't mind taking an extra hour to leave the house and only try to do one thing per day on my own. :) life is good though. I love having a newborn.  Well she's 6 weeks this Thursday....aw man it's crazy and wonderful.

There's this stray cat that comes to our window and freaks my cats out. At first I wanna hate him but then I think of how he's homeless, food less, love less. It's so sad.

We will not go quietly into the night! We will not give up without a fight! We're going to succeed; we're going to live on. Today we celebrate out Independence Day!!
