Sunday Morning. Brings the dawn in.

Thrashed. 7am on Sunday is early, my friends.

Pretty flowers outside the Visitor's Center at the temple. We had Stake Conference that day and the overflow was in the VC. It was a live broadcast from Utah with President Packer, Sister Thompson, Elder Saniti, and President Jensen. It was the 4 of them in a little studio recording live just for us. What an amazing experience. I felt so close to them, and felt as though they were speaking so specifically to me. The biggest thing I got out of it was the importance of Prayer and how trials really aren't trials if you are looking at them in the correct perspective.
I'm so grateful.

I love the Temple. I love the sun. I love warmth and light and these flowers. I had a huge answer to my prayers. I will be a visiting teaching supervisor, so I will be able to be involved in Relief Society even though I'm in Nursery. Heavenly Father loves me!

Collin is a really good chef. He uses sauteed garlic in almost everything and it smells SO good!!!

Mmmm, good

Collin does everything. I am the assistant. This is a very important job. I take pictures and cut things and he lets me stir.

My hair was very over grown. Then I got a haircut and now it's way too short. I hate getting used to a new climate!!! The air is STRANGE out here.

Happy Bday GIANT BURGERS.

From the amazing Amy Scerra, I found out that on your birthday, RED ROBIN gives you a free burger and fries! It almost sounds too good to be true, BUT IT IS! You sign up for their birthday club on the website and get a coupon that lasts for the week before and after your bday. Collin's and My birthday are 13 days apart, so it was PERFECT. We went on Friday and got two FREE hamburgers! It's amazing, when you've just moved, just started new jobs, and haven't gone out in a while, hehe. Don't worry, we've both been servers. We left nice tips since we didn't have to pay. :)

Big as my head! I ate the ENTIRE THING. Oh MAN, it was good. The Sante Fe poblano pepper murdered my insides, but it was worth it.

Collin above, and me below doing my dead/super hot pose. hahahahah. I laugh really hard when I look at this photo.

STARTING TO Bloom!!!!!!!!!

Lovey love.

Fondo Del Sol

Really, the most beautiful experience in DC

Adventure with Dogs :)

Rainy Rockville on March 13th

There are a lot of bare trees that will soon be full of blossoms.

I would love to have this pair.

Everyone should do their census. It's fun! We did it, and Collin got jealous because I wrote it all. So take turns.

colors and food

We do enjoy colors, food, friends, and each other, most of all.

craaazzyy for St. Patrick's.

My work faces the Rockville Town Square, and for St. Patrick's Day there were tons and tons of people gathering around. I was feeling all excited to be out and about, especially with the beautiful weather we've been having. SO, I told Smith to meet me here on his way home from work, to celebrate.

He got here. Neither of us were wearing green. We went to this place, Austin's Grill for nachos, and there was this horrible band playing music from "so 8 years ago." Seriously, like 2002, when I graduated High School and we were all listening to that crappy poppy punk stuff. But the Nachos were DeLICIOUS, and green. We spent our money, and since we don't drink we kind of just sat there for a minute.

We were home by 9:30pm. Ah, being married, working full-time, and going to school. So exciting. We did play Tetris 2, though!

ALSO, I prepared an AMAZING looking lasagna, the first one of my life.
Blondiezookie/choco. chip cookie dough ice cream for dessert.

Birthday in the rain

I woke up to the rain on March 13, 2010. I felt refreshed from sleeping in for the first time in a while, and felt a little older. Then I had one of the best days ever.

My sweet sweet Collin brought me breakfast in bed, delicious!!!
It rained all day, but it was fun! We ate lots of food, went into the city, saw lots of really good art, bought a cockroach from a mini Don Quixote, and ate cupcakes.
Then back home for movies, games, and snuggling. It was a different birthday because I usually have a big party, tons of friends and family around. But this one was special...in our new surroundings Collin and I depend on each other even more.

PS. For my birthday I got Can't Hardly Wait, Mean Girls, Back to the Future, Independence Day and A Christmas Story on VHS. CLASSICS.

PPS. Thanks to friends and family who made me feel so loved from so far away!!
