Here is my little brother, David Andrus Money. He is so cool. These pictures made me a little teary because I'm just so proud of him. He's in the Dominican Republic serving a mission.
Look at him, Book of Mormon in hand, happy to be alive!

Food and Food and glasses and Pickles weekend.

This weekend we made lots of food, sang in the church choir, and went to two movies! We checked out the town of Bathesda (which I was not the biggest fan of), and Saw Iron Man 2. It was really stupid, but fun to see with Collin, of course. Charlotte Johanson's part was so rediculous and unnecessary. She is my age and looks like she's reconstructed her chin or something.

We had really yummy burgers at The Burger Joint, but it was annoying because they got both of our orders really wrong. They actually had to remake my entire burger because I ordered it Med Well and it was Med rare. Oh well, we'll probably go back again. Look how good it looks. And the garlic fries were divine.

This woman, K Hiegle, disgusts us:

Saturday morning we went to the Rockville Farmer's Market. We bought some pretty vegetables, the most DELICIOUS apples I've EVER HAD in my LIFE!!!!!!!!!, and tasted the most delicious cheeses and breads. The Amish sure can make cheese. And the goat cheese guy, drool. (Not him, the cheeses).

I went to work, and Collin went grocery shopping. After work, I walked home in the rain and was in the worst mood ever. Collin said we were spontaneously going to see Robin Hood with some friends. I was in a pouting, tired, junky mood, so at first I refused, but then I gave in. It was fun! I had absolutely no expectations for that movie, and had seen Iron Man 2 the night before, so Collin and I didn't hate it.

We got home late, and had promised that we'd make fish tacos, so we made FISH TACOS! AND THEY WERE SO AMAZING!!!!!!! They were beer-battered, so I had to buy beer for the first time in my life. Alcohol isn't sold in grocery stores out here, so we had to go to a liquor store. We walked in, asked for the cheapest can of beer, paid for the Milwakee's Best, and left. Hahaha. We used the 1/3 cup for the fish, then poured the rest down the drain. Hahaha, so funny.

We ate the fish with corn tortilla's and with a DELICIOUS avacado tomato salsa. We've decided we're never making any other kind of salsa ever; this was that good.

Church was wonderful on Sunday. We almost didn't get there because our ride fell through, but miraculously my VT called and asked if I needed a ride!!! We sang Who at my Door is Standing in the choir. It is a very sweet song. We are sad because we love singing in the choir so much, and they are going on a break for summer time. I work in the nursery in church (with the 1.5-2 year-old class), and the class is getting so big. PLUS everyone was so cranky yesterday. I love them all, so much though. I really think Heavenly Father is preparing me for motherhood. Actually, I know it. I've had some pretty strong personal impressions lately, prompting me, preparing me, comforting me, and answering prayers. I don't really desire to have children, honestly, but I know it is part of God's plan, and I that it will make me happy. I've been asking for a testimony of that, of motherhood, and that it truly is for me. I'm getting that. Be careful what you ask for, huh!!!

After church fish leftovers, SNICKERDOODLES, and over to our friends, the Bairds, house for dinner. We love them so much! We feel a really strong connection to them. Sister Baird is a very talented pianist, and we also went to watch her play at the visitor's center that night. She opened for the main speaker, Brian Crane, creator of the comic, "Pickles." It was an awesome night!!!

All about Maebel Losa

This is Maebel Losa Nesbit. She is my cousin's daughter. Collin and I went out to their house in Charlottesville, VA for her blessing in church. I LOVE her. Man, if I have a baby, I want one like HER! Funny, cute, giant flowers, chill. The blessing was wonderful, too. Simple, pure love.

And it was so fun being with family! A few of my mom's siblings and their families live in New Jersey and Virginia. We finally got to take advantage of that, and there will be more at the end of the month.

Okay, now just look at this cutie! Awwwwww.

Kafta Sandwich

This is what I ate at the Lebanese Taverna after work today. I can't describe its deliciousness accurately. It is just too yummy. Spicy grilled beef, radishes, tomatoes, and the most delicious hummus ever. OH MAN! I want to eat another one right now. My mouth is watering.

Then...I went to the dentist. I haven't been in over two years. Let me tell ya, the dentist SUCKS! It is PAINFUL! Man, I hate going to the dentist!!! And...I have a cavity. Ahhhh! I want to cry! I floss every DAY, and still a cavity??? Please, don't give me shots. I'm going to die, I'm SURE!

Then I walked home. The freezing is over. It is hot again. The sun is out and lovely. I got burnt! THE POOL is ALMOST READY! It opens May 29, and then I'll be there every day! I wanted to hop over the fence and jump in right then because I was sweating like a pig.

In last news, this woman at my work REALLY wants to dye my hair. REALLY. I LIKE my hair. People always compliment the color. I'm natural. I'm Aveda. I keep saying no, but she won't listen. She put me on her book for next Thursday. Thursday. OH! BUT THURSDAY I get my cavity filled. Now which one do I want to get out of MORE??? Hmmmm.

About all the hatred going on in AZ: I only hear about it and read about it. I am not there. It makes me so sad that the state is so divided. I wish everyone could be at peace. I know the bill says there is not to be racial profiling, but how will there not be? But I don't agree with "boycotting" the state. And I also don't like that people keep saying Mormons are racists. I'm not racist. I was taught to love all people by the prophet, and Jesus Christ, and my leaders and parents. I can't claim to be perfect by any means. I'm also not excusing anyone from anything. My heart hurts right now. I hate politics. I hate the way they make people turn against each other and forget that we are all brothers and sisters.

Crazy night for the Pure Privilege machine.

cut up!!

I SLICED through my left pinky finger while cutting open a baguette with a small sharp knife tonight. I didn't use the bread cutting knife because it and every other knife and dish in our entire kitchen is dirty.
My husband is laughing.

And in the mail I got a card from my Mom, a Julie Doiron cd, and my mail-order birth control.

I am attracted to having harmony. That means I'm lacking that in my life and I'm feeling depression, loss of connection, and lack of caring.

It's true. I hate missing weddings, not yet meeting friend's boyfriend-&-potential-husbands, Joseph's last day of elementary school, the Phoenix dry heat, doing stuff with my mom, adventuring with Smith, watching movies at AMC theatre, and having lots of friends.

Seriously, I feel like having a girls slumber party. I feel disconnected from so much. And I hate that Collin and I separate and work all day in different states. There has to be a different option when it comes to growing up!

Well I sprayed Chakra #1 in the middle of my chest, and Chakra #4 at the bottom of my spine, so hopefully that'll work. Plus, I suppose I need to count my many blessings and endure and not look back! Okay! I'll try!!!

May 13, 2010

I'm really tiring of these mornings when Collin has to leave for work so early and I'm alone in our bed. I want to hold each other a while more in the morning. My only consolation is to type.
But the words I've typed say to not ask, "why me?" but, "what do I do?" and, "what do I learn from this?"
I learn that I love my husbands smell more than anything in the world.

Now that school is over I have more time to INDEX!! This is an excellent way to participate in Family History work. You enter data from scanned census sheets into the Family Search database. It is AWESOME.

You should try it by clicking here.

Spa land

I thought I'd surprise ol' Smith with a relaxing weekend get away when he was done with work on Friday.

Haha, I didn't know what to name it.

This is my relaxing font.
