My last supper
Tomorrow my sister, Ashley, and I are starting THIS, so tonight I made these for my last supper (of fattening junk food)...

Wooooo they were good. And only took an hour!!!! Pinterest recipe success, here!!!!!! I only had one and a half and then we went around and gave some to my moms neighbors-spreading a little holiday cheer.
But tomorrow is the day! We can do it, Ashley!!!!

A little murder; a little mystery
inspiration....

Last weekend we went to a murder mystery party at the home of dear friends, Emily & Micah D. It was set in 1936 and I played Ali, famous writer of very realistic murder novels--a little TOO realistic. Collin played Rog, long lost son and now heir of the late billionaire, Sir Rogers.
It was a night of deception, accusation, and most of all, murder.
Pretty fun stuff.
Oh! And Collin was totally the murderer. Muwahahaha!!!
And I'm super interested in CL Moore after reading up in her for my part. I got one of her books and will start it as soon as I finish Northanger Abbey, which we are now reading for book club.

Starting Monday
I'm always wanting to cut out junk and candy because its such a weakness of mine but its so hard to do it alone!! But starting Monday my sister-in-law and I are doing this 21 day challenge!! We will be adding NO SODA and workouts to it and will be texting each other daily to say what we ARE eating, what exercises etc to keep accountable. Yes, I realize this goes through Thanksgiving. But it doesn't say we can't have turkey or stuffing or potatoes or salads. We will just cut out pie, cakes, and the insane amounts of fattening appetizers. I'm really excited about it! Anyone want to join us?

Jaime Grumet speaks out!

Remember that controversial Time magazine cover this past May with the mother breastfeeding her 3-year-old? This is that mother's response to the backlash. Time mag basically called her and other well-known nursing, attachment parenting, blogging, moms up and told them that they wanted to interview and photograph them for the 20th anniversary of Dr. Sears', The Baby Book. She didn't know they were going to flip that and misrepresent attachment parenting, Dr. Sears, The Baby Book and Jaime Grumet herself by choosing the least loving photo (which Jaime said was taken when a "break" was called) and slapping on the cover, "ARE YOU MOM ENOUGH?" alienating any moms who don't nurse or nurse extendedly. She, like I, believes that mothers do what hey have to and that we all need to unite and respect each other no matter what.
With love. Check it out.

Babywearing
October 7-14th was International Babywearing week!
Collin and I were actually stopped by a woman in her car and told, "good job! Happy IBWW!!!"
We love to wear our babe.

Phoenix LDS Temple Site
In October the Young Women visited the Phoenix LDS Temple building site. It was a beautiful experience for us all. We felt the spirit so strongly in the little trailer as a missionary couple talked about the progression of the construction. It's exciting to be young and a part of such things! The girls lovede it too. And what an exciting announcement that there will be a 6th temple in AZ! To be built in Tucson!!! SIX!!!!! That's an amazing blessing!
Happy November! We're off to vote!

Halloween Night
Alright...last post of Halloween pictures for the year....
My heart just about melted time and time again as I
saw that my little Frederick is growing up so fast.
I love him so much! He makes all these thing in life a
thousand times more fun and exciting. We live for him!
We are reading to really get our family started. There's
no greater joy I've ever experienced. Families can be
together FOREVER!
Now on to the spooky stuff!
