arcosanti in March

The month of March is birthday month in our house! We traveled just a little ways out of town to Arcosanti to celebrate. Freddie went to his grandmas for the night so that we could have time alone and a little more time with just Hattie. We did have fun together but missed Fred so much. We decided that family trips feel empty without him and plan to go back again in the summer with all of us.

casa

ArTaFor Presidents' Day this past February, Collin and Freddie and little Hattie and I took off down south a little while to explore Casa Grande and the national monument. We love family road trips!!!
"I want all the way down!" (Always!!) --Freddie

This was Hattie's first time in the ergo.

My two ones

This was the start of the, "working his job in the dirt." (He tells me this every time he plays in the dirt, rocks or sand.)

Another junior ranger achievement! This man was so cute. He had Freddie raise his right hand and repeat a junior ranger oath back to him. Fred took it super seriously.

Erin Rae married to Josh Getskow, Windmill Winery in Florence, Arizona!

One of my dearest and oldest friends, Erin, married her soul mate, Josh, in the beginning of February, at the Windmill Winery in Florence, AZ. Have you been there? It's the most gorgeous, fun, unique place I've been to for a wedding in Arizona! Big beautiful red barn, gorgeous vineyard, middle of nowhere, and the amazing weather we're having right now, not to mention all the beautiful handmade details made for an incredible night. I had SO much fun with Collin and Frederick. We got away for a few minutes and walked through the vineyard covered in twinkley lights. I also got to nurse Fred by a small fire and that was so sweet. I was beyond happy for Erin and Josh. The ceremony was so touching, centered on God and their commitment to one another. We ate, caught up with old friends, met new ones, roasted s'mores while wrapped in blankets at a huge romantic bonfire, and danced the night away. Frederick was in the spotlight the whole time. But Erin and Josh were the stars. They looked stunning. Erin was perfectly gorgeous from head to toe. Congratulations, you two!!! Now for a few photos to share the beauty of the night with you.

Pueblo Grande Museum

Phoenix LDS Temple Site

In October the Young Women visited the Phoenix LDS Temple building site. It was a beautiful experience for us all. We felt the spirit so strongly in the little trailer as a missionary couple talked about the progression of the construction. It's exciting to be young and a part of such things! The girls lovede it too. And what an exciting announcement that there will be a 6th temple in AZ! To be built in Tucson!!! SIX!!!!! That's an amazing blessing!
Happy November! We're off to vote!

camping in Sedona

Osborn ward camp out in Sedona! It was beautiful, cold, the ground was rocky, I didn't sleep a wink, I had to pee so badly in the middle of the night but it took me hours to make myself go because I kept thinking about the Blair Witch Project....but I love all that stuff! The next day we went on a walk to a little creek and through the woods and across a bridge. Freddie, on the other hand, slept like a log and enjoyed every minute of it....welll...he got a little freaked out about how dark it was at night, but he got over that. The breakfast the next morning was SO good. Just Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fruit but man, it all tasted delicious. We had a great time as a family.

So excited to go camping!

He looks like a chunker in this photo. I'm totally fine with that.
