Frederick's 6 month check up

Freddie turned 6 months old on March 18th and today he saw his doctor for his 6 month check up and more vaccines. He is 17 lbs 4 oz and 26.5 inches!! The doctor said his motor skills are about two months ahead as he is for real crawling, sitting up and down, raising up to his knees, pulling himself up with furniture/us. He is also pulling his hands away trying to stand and falling on his bum. He loves it. Poor little darling has been sore from his two shots plus teething and has been taking it easy today.
After General Conference this weekend, we have a renewed eagerness for Family Home Evening. Tonight we sang songs and looked at pictures of Jesus with Freddie while we talked about Easter and the Resurrection. I really felt the spirit as CS testified to our little son that Jesus Christ suffered for us and knows every hurt we experience. Also that he died for us and after 3 days, he arose, resurrected, and because of it we can repent and forgive and ask forgiveness. We can live and grow an change and be better.
