Growing babes.

Hattie in her personal prayer tonight: "thank you for our new friends and bless them. And bless that we don't have to leave next time and we can stay together with them forever and ever."

And Freddie let me know that tonight after he read his verse [of scripture] he got frustrated and thought in his head that he wanted to hit Hattie two times but he stopped and thought, "no, I'm not going to do that, I'm going to use my words instead." 

He went on to tell me that when I get frustrated I can do the same thing. I love him. Love his wisdom. 

These happened tonight as we all laid in their bed before sleep. Bedtime can seem never ending and stressful sometimes but it can also be my favorite time with them. I love our pillow talk. Love my bubs. Ella, you're adorable. 

Honey Harvest

Attended a honey harvest at the Salt Lake City library today. We got to watch the beekeepers and learn about bees and even taste some of the honey comb. It was so delicious. My babes are awesome. 

It was fun having Collin there w us because I got to spend time with each of the kid individually, reading and playing. Hattie is so funny! She speaks in complete sentences and asks questions and tells jokes. Lee loved reading books about trains, different holidays, hugging and kissing, counting, animals, brushing your teeth etc. she sings her ABCs so loudly; the whole floor can hear!! 

Frederick is so imaginative. He wants to meet people and make friends. He wants to play games like tag and hind and go seek. He wants us to join him in all of his discoveries. He sings and looks at books and makes up games and stories. He also loves playing on the iPad at the library. 

More summer

It's gotten to the point where we can't really go outside anymore besides swimming. Yesterday was 118 and some meters read 121. Photos are from the last couple of weeks.

Baby time at the library! We've been going for months and are loving it! We've made lots of friends: mommies and babies. Fred mainly just loves to suck on the shakers during singing time...don't worry...they are cleaned after every class. We love books! We love the library!

Amazing Reptiles!!

Frederick and I headed to the library for some more fun last Tuesday. It was reptile day. I figured we'd see some lizards and little snakes and Freddie'd be entertained and we would call it a day. But let me tell you, it was pretty much incredible. The guy showing his reptiles was so animated and the whole thing was just awesome. The pictures and videos will speak for themselves!!
